Starting Time

All home and away games will start at 6.00pm and no later than 6.30pm.

If a player is late and has not arrived before the players 2nd round frame:

A) Play your reserve player, who will have to play all remaining rounds only. (1st round will be forfeited and all other rounds if reserve is not ready to play). Eg. Reserve available till round 4, rounds 1,2 and 3 will be forfeited.

B) Nominate to play your reserve player before starting round 2 and reserve player has to play all remaining rounds. If reserve falls ill or any other circumstance that they are not able to finish all remaining rounds, then all remaining rounds will be forfeited.

Special Allowances Rule:

Any player/players that are participating in Pool Victoria events or major money competitions:

A) They will have until the last frame is played or 8.00pm to arrive and play all 5 rounds.

B) Captains must notify opposition teams of a SAR and who the player/players are.

C) All players must wait for the nominated SAR player/players to arrive. If opposition player/players leave before nominated SAR player/players arrive within the Special Allowance Rule, they will forfeit there frames.

Reserve Rules

Reserve Player:

A) Can not be a 1st Div, State or well known player in these categories.

B) Play more than 25% of home and away games to play in a final.

C) Reserve will only play if;

1. Player can not make it.

2. Player giving consent to his/her captain that they wish to be replaced.

3. Team player leaves.

All teams have no longer than the 2nd round to nominate reserve player for the season. This can not be changed.

Important: Should a player be replaced without knowing, points will be lost. HPL enforces that all paid and registered players have the right to play every frame of the season regardless of playing form.

Coaching

Any player in each team will be able to coach a player. Usually it will be the 2 first Div players.

Each player can call the coach 3 times only per frame.

Player must call "COACH". If the coach comes into play without been called, a fowl will be called and the opponent will receive 2 visits.

Hand movements or any sign of the coach suggesting the player at the table to call coach will get 1 warning ( this warning applies for the whole team ) . Second time a foul will be called and 2 visits to the opponent. Third time a serious foul will be called and the frame will be awarded to the opponent. Rule to apply for all matches, NOT JUST 1 FRAME.

Note: Time keeping should be watched and called as required.

Finals Format

Based on 8 teams: Team with the most points at the end of the season will have automatic entry into the final. 2nd and 3rd will play off in a semi final to progress to the final and play the top team.

Based on 9 teams plus: Top 4 teams will play off.

Best Player Format

Top 5 players at the end of the season will play off. Player who has the most points will have automatic entry to the final "Best Player". The other top 4 players 2nd V's 4th and 3rd V's 5th will play race to 11. Both winners will then play each other and the winner will play the top player in the league for the Husler Pool League Best Player.

This is how it works,

Example: Player A has won 75 frames for the season and has finished on top with most frames won. Player B has won 72 frames for the season. Player A will have 3 frames head start against player B in a race to 11.

The above format will apply for matches for Best Player.

If the top 5 player ties with 6 then the players must play off in a best of 5 frames and the winner will be in the top 5 group.

Umpire

Winner of each frame has the duty of umpiring the next frame or nominate another player from the team.
